I saw that auction— that was the summer I interned at Ford, and it was right when I started. Ralph Lauren bought the Ghia Focus for $2MM. Far as I know it was the only one of the concepts that was a runner.

I thought this was the Taurus show car which was all aluminum & only weighed 2000 (ish) lbs.
